User Data Deletion Instructions
How to delete your account and all associated data from SocialAutoUpload
In accordance with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations, you have the right to delete your personal data from our service at any time. We provide multiple ways to delete your data completely.

You have FOUR options to delete your data:
- In-App Deletion - Delete from your account settings (Fastest)
- Email Request - Send us a deletion request email
- Facebook App - Use Facebook's data deletion callback URL
- TikTok Disconnection - Disconnect TikTok and remove all TikTok data
Method 1: In-App Account Deletion (Recommended)
The fastest and easiest way to delete your account and all data:
- Log in to Your Account
Go to https://socialautoupload.com and log in with your credentials.
- Navigate to Settings
Click on the Settings icon in the left sidebar menu.
- Go to Account Tab
Select the "Account" or "Danger Zone" section.
- Click "Delete Account"
Find and click the "Delete Account" button.
⚠️ Warning: This action is irreversible and will delete ALL your data. - Confirm Deletion
Type your password to confirm and click "Permanently Delete".
- Immediate: Account access revoked
- Within 24 hours: Active data deleted from production database
- Within 30 days: Complete data deletion from all systems
- Within 90 days: Deletion from backup systems
Method 2: Email Deletion Request
If you cannot log in or prefer email, send us a deletion request:

Include in Your Email:
- Your full name
- Email address used for your SocialAutoUpload account
- Clear statement: "I request deletion of my SocialAutoUpload account and all associated data"
- Reason for deletion (optional)

- Within 48 hours: We will verify your identity and send confirmation
- Within 7 days: Account will be deleted
- Within 30 days: Complete data deletion from all systems
- Within 90 days: Deletion from backup systems
Method 3: Facebook Data Deletion Callback
If you logged in using Facebook, you can also initiate deletion through Facebook:
- Go to Facebook Settings
Navigate to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites
- Find SocialAutoUpload
Locate SocialAutoUpload in your connected apps list.
- Remove App
Click "Remove" and then "Remove app and delete all activities"
- Automatic Deletion
Facebook will send us a deletion request automatically. We will process it within 30 days.

This is the URL configured in our Facebook App for automatic deletion requests.
Method 4: TikTok Data Deletion
If you connected your TikTok account, you can delete your TikTok-related data:
- Disconnect TikTok from SocialAutoUpload
Go to SocialAutoUpload → Channels → Find your TikTok account → Click "Disconnect"
This immediately deletes your TikTok access token, refresh token, open_id, and all channel metadata from our systems.
- Revoke Access from TikTok
Go to TikTok app → Settings and Privacy → Security → Manage app permissions → Find SocialAutoUpload → Remove
- Full Account Deletion
For complete deletion of all data (including TikTok), use Method 1 (In-App Account Deletion) or Method 2 (Email Request) above.
TikTok Data We Delete:
- ✅ TikTok OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens (encrypted)
- ✅ TikTok open_id and account identifiers
- ✅ TikTok display name and avatar URL
- ✅ Channel metadata (username, connection date)
- ✅ Post records associated with TikTok publishing
Note: Videos already published to TikTok remain on the TikTok platform. You must delete them directly from TikTok. We cannot remove content already posted to TikTok.
- Immediate: TikTok tokens revoked and deleted
- Within 24 hours: All TikTok metadata removed from database
- Within 30 days: Removed from all backups
What Data Gets Deleted?
When you delete your account, we permanently delete:

Connected Accounts
- ✅ All connected social media channel information
- ✅ Access tokens and refresh tokens
- ✅ Channel IDs and metadata
Content Data
- ✅ All your posts and drafts
- ✅ Scheduled posts
- ✅ Content templates
- ✅ Saved captions and hashtags
Media Files
- ✅ All uploaded images
- ✅ All uploaded videos
- ✅ Temporary files
Publishing Profiles
- ✅ All saved publishing profiles
- ✅ Channel groupings
- ✅ Profile settings
Activity Data
- ✅ Activity logs
- ✅ Publishing history
- ✅ Usage statistics
What Data is NOT Deleted?
Important Note:
The following data is NOT under our control and will NOT be deleted:
- ❌ Posts already published to social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
- ❌ Content on third-party platforms - you must delete these separately from each platform
- ❌ Cached data on social media platforms
To delete published content: You must log in to each social media platform and manually delete posts from there. We can only delete data stored in our systems.
Legally Required Retention
We may retain minimal data if legally required:
- Transaction records (if applicable) - for tax/audit purposes
- Dispute/legal case records - until case is resolved
- Fraud prevention logs - as required by law
This data will be deleted as soon as legally permissible.

Deletion Confirmation
After processing your deletion request, we will:
- ✉️ Send you a confirmation email within 48 hours
- 📧 Send final confirmation when deletion is complete (within 30 days)
- 🔢 Provide a confirmation code for your records
Keep the deletion confirmation email as proof that your data was deleted, in case you need it for regulatory compliance or other purposes.
Before You Delete
⚠️ Please Consider:
- Download Your Data: Export any content you want to keep before deleting
- Cancel Scheduled Posts: Check and cancel any scheduled posts
- Disconnect Social Accounts: Consider manually disconnecting social media accounts first
- No Recovery: Once deleted, your account CANNOT be recovered
- Same Email: You can create a new account with the same email after 30 days
Alternative: Deactivate Instead
If you're unsure about permanent deletion, consider:
- Disconnecting all social media accounts (keeps your data but stops publishing)
- Deleting individual posts instead of entire account
- Contacting support for a temporary suspension
