Analytics
Analytics — how your publishing is doing
The Analytics page summarizes your publishing activity from this app's own records:
- Total Posts, with a week-over-week change.
- Published and Failed counts.
- Success Rate — of the posts actually attempted (drafts and scheduled don't count).
- Platform Breakdown — published vs failed per platform, so you can see which platform is giving you trouble.
What isn't available (be clear-eyed about this)
Real engagement metrics — views, likes, comments, reach — are available for YouTube only. For Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Telegram, the app doesn't show engagement numbers. If you need those, use each platform's own insights/creator tools. This is a genuine limitation, not a setting you've missed.
YouTube Analytics — real audience numbers
The YouTube Analytics page pulls live data from YouTube for your connected channel(s):
- Channel header — subscribers, total views, video count.
- Summary metrics — Views, Watch Time, Subscribers Gained, Net Subscribers, Likes, Comments.
- Charts — daily views and subscriber growth over your chosen period.
- Recent uploads — tap a video for its own live stats (views, likes, comments, privacy).
- Period selector — 7, 30, or 90 days.
- A channel switcher if you've connected more than one YouTube channel.
The upload quota card
YouTube Analytics also shows YouTube Uploads Today — an app-wide daily upload count shared across all users (it's tied to one Google project, not your account alone). It resets at midnight Pacific Time. If it's reached, YouTube uploads pause for everyone until reset; you'll see an "App-wide limit reached" note.
Expected result
You know exactly what each analytics surface measures: Analytics = did my posts publish successfully (all platforms); YouTube Analytics = real audience numbers (YouTube only). And you know not to expect like/view counts for the other platforms inside the app.
Common mistakes
- Expecting likes/views for Facebook/Instagram/TikTok in the app — only YouTube has real metrics.
- Reading Success Rate as engagement — it measures publishing success, not audience response.
- Worrying that today's YouTube numbers look low — data can lag up to 48 hours.
- Thinking the YouTube upload limit is yours alone — it's shared app-wide and resets midnight PT.
- Looking for Analytics on Free — it's a Creator-and-up feature.
Troubleshooting (quick table)
| Situation | What it means | Do this |
|---|---|---|
| No engagement numbers for FB/IG/TikTok | The app doesn't provide them yet | Use each platform's own insights tools |
| YouTube Analytics asks you to reconnect | The analytics permission wasn't granted, or the token lapsed | Reconnect the YouTube channel (Lesson 14) |
| YouTube API quota exceeded… | The app-wide daily quota is used up | Check back after midnight Pacific Time |
| Today's YouTube stats look off | YouTube reporting delay | Wait up to 48 hours |
| Analytics/YouTube pages are locked | They're a paid feature | Upgrade (Lesson 2) |
📱 Mobile note: both analytics pages work on mobile; the charts are easier to read on a larger screen.
