Analytics

Level: Advanced Time: ~10 min Prerequisites: Lesson 7 Audience: creators
Purpose
Two kinds of insight live in the app, and it's worth being clear which is which: the Analytics page tells you how your publishing is going across all platforms, and the YouTube Analytics page shows real audience numbers for YouTube. This lesson maps both — and is honest about what isn't measured yet.

Analytics — totals, success rate and a per-platform breakdown of your publishing.

Analytics — how your publishing is doing

The Analytics page summarizes your publishing activity from this app's own records:

This is publishing telemetry, not audience engagement
The app states it plainly: Publishing telemetry from this app (per-channel results). For views, likes and engagement, see YouTube Analytics — other platforms' engagement metrics aren't available yet. In other words, Analytics tells you whether your posts went out successfully, not how many people liked them.

What isn't available (be clear-eyed about this)

Real engagement metrics — views, likes, comments, reach — are available for YouTube only. For Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Telegram, the app doesn't show engagement numbers. If you need those, use each platform's own insights/creator tools. This is a genuine limitation, not a setting you've missed.

YouTube Analytics — real audience numbers

The YouTube Analytics page pulls live data from YouTube for your connected channel(s):

💡 YouTube data can lag up to 48 hours
The page notes: "Data may be delayed up to 48 hours." So today's numbers may still be settling — that's YouTube's own reporting delay, not the app.

The upload quota card

YouTube Analytics also shows YouTube Uploads Today — an app-wide daily upload count shared across all users (it's tied to one Google project, not your account alone). It resets at midnight Pacific Time. If it's reached, YouTube uploads pause for everyone until reset; you'll see an "App-wide limit reached" note.

Both analytics pages need a paid plan
The Analytics and YouTube Analytics pages are a Creator-and-up feature (Lesson 2). Connecting and publishing to YouTube works on any plan; the analytics pages are gated to paid plans.

Expected result

You know exactly what each analytics surface measures: Analytics = did my posts publish successfully (all platforms); YouTube Analytics = real audience numbers (YouTube only). And you know not to expect like/view counts for the other platforms inside the app.
