SocialAutoUpload User Guide · Volume 2 — Plans, Credits & Upgrading · Lesson 17
Limits, banners & upgrading
Purpose
Lesson 2 explained what your allowance is; this one is about what happens when you reach it. The app warns you early, never fails a scheduled post because of a limit, and makes upgrading a quick message. Here's how to read the signals and get more headroom when you need it.
The two banners on your usage panel
Your Dashboard usage panel watches both credits and upload allowance and warns you on either:
- Amber, at 80%: You're approaching your monthly limit · credits X% · uploads Y%. — with your reset date and upgrade links. This is your early warning; act here and you never get blocked.
- Red, at 100%: You've reached your monthly {credit / upload / credit and upload} limit. — with the reset date and how to keep going.
The progress bars themselves shift amber at 80% and red at 100%, so you can read your standing at a glance without the banner.
What each limit actually blocks
| Limit | What it stops | Message you'll see |
|---|---|---|
| Credits | Publishing (per account) | Publishing to N channel(s) needs N credit(s), but you have R left this month… |
| Upload allowance | Uploads & URL imports | You have uploaded X MB of your Y MB monthly limit. Resets on the 1st, or contact admin. |
| Daily posts | Publishing (per day) | You have published N posts today. Your daily limit is L. Try again tomorrow or contact admin. |
| Channels | Connecting a new channel | Your {plan} plan allows N connected account(s). Upgrade to connect more. |
| Profiles | Creating a new profile | Your {plan} plan allows N publishing profile(s). Upgrade to create more. |
| Feature (e.g. bulk delete, analytics) | Using a paid-only feature | Routed to the pricing page / …requires a higher plan… |
Blocked vs deferred — an important difference
⏱ Scheduled posts are deferred, never failed
When you try to publish now at a limit, you're blocked with the message above — nothing is lost, you just adjust and retry. But a scheduled post that comes due while you're at a limit isn't failed: it's deferred to the reset point (next month for credits, tomorrow for the daily limit) and publishes itself then. Check the Scheduler and you'll see it waiting (Lessons 2 & 11).Upgrading — a message, not a checkout
There's no card form. Upgrades are activated by a person, usually within a few hours:
- Compare plans at /pricing, or tap Upgrade on the usage panel / a limit banner.
- An interstitial explains the process — "Upgrades are activated personally by our team — message us with the plan you want and your account email, and we'll switch you over (usually within a few hours)."
- Message us on Telegram @paingthucom (fastest) or WhatsApp +66 91 333 7003, including the plan you want and your account email.
- Your plan is switched on. As the page promises: "No card details are ever asked for over chat before you confirm the plan."
💡 Out of credits mid-month? Ask for a top-up
You don't have to change plans to get more headroom — over the same chat you can ask for extra credits added to your current month. And if you're already on the top (Agency) plan, the banner switches to "Contact us to raise your limits" rather than "upgrade".Expected result
You recognize the amber and red banners, know exactly which action each limit blocks and what to do, trust that scheduled posts survive a limit, and can upgrade or top up with a single message.
Common mistakes
- Waiting for the red 100% banner — the amber 80% one is your cue to act.
- Thinking a scheduled post failed at a limit — it deferred; check the Scheduler.
- Looking for a card checkout — upgrades are done over chat.
- Messaging support without your account email — include it so they can find you.
- Forgetting URL imports count toward upload allowance — a big import can trip the upload limit.
Troubleshooting (quick table)
| Situation | What it means | Do this |
|---|---|---|
| Publish blocked with a credit message | Not enough credits for the selected channels | Deselect channels, wait for reset, or upgrade / top up |
| Uploads/imports stopped | Upload allowance used up | Wait for the 1st, or upgrade |
| "Try again tomorrow" | Daily post limit reached | Tomorrow, or upgrade for a higher daily limit |
| Can't connect another channel / profile | Plan cap reached | Disconnect one, or upgrade |
| A feature routes you to /pricing | It's paid-only (bulk delete, analytics…) | Upgrade (Lesson 2) |
📱 Mobile note: the usage panel, banners and Upgrade button are all on the mobile Dashboard; the upgrade links open Telegram/WhatsApp directly.
